All About Summersault
My mom tells me that when I win an academy award, I need to remember to thank her. She says I can be very dramatic. I tell her I would rather be a veterinarian because I love animals. Although being an actress sounds interesting, I would not be able to spend adequate time doing the things I love with the people I love! My family and friends support me in my various interests and help me develop talents, be happy, successful, and well-rounded.
I have lots of friends from lots of places. My friends are honest. They are also fun because they always play with me at recess. We make fun things and do fun things together. We make homes for animals and paint. My friends are supportive of me. They always encourage me. Whenever I make a choice, they support me. My friends are always there for me. They are very helpful. When I need help then they help me with whatever I need.
I have several hobbies. One of them is piano. When I play the piano I find it very relaxing. I have been playing for the past two years. Piano also comforts me. Another hobby is singing. I have been in a school choir for two years. I sing everywhere. In my house, and I sometimes even sing at the store. My other hobby is gymnastics. When I do gymnastics, it gives me strength. It is also very challenging and I like challenging but it also gives me something to do. I hope that when I grow up I will be able to be in the olympics but that will probably never happen. As a matter of fact, one of my favorite things to do this Summer was watch the Olympic Gymnasts. Watching it really inspired me to do the best I can in gymnastics. I also love writing. At school there is something called Newspaper, and I was the first person to turn my form to get in because I really wanted to be able to get into the club and write my heart out.
My family are the most important people in my life. My mom and I are sewing a denim quilt. She supports me in any choice I make. My mom bakes scrumptious cinnamon rolls, brownies, cookies, and much more! She comforts me when I have a terrible day or when I feel anxious. My dad comforts me when I am sad or disappointed. At night, he comes into my room and scratches my back. When I have chorus, my dad drives me even though he will be late to work. He also makes the most amazing grilled cheese sandwiches. My brother and I love to wrestle. One of my favorite moves is when he picks me up by the legs, spins me around, and drops me on my back! My brother takes me fishing even though I’d rather catch frogs than fish and he teaches me how to build the most creative cities and cars with Legos. My sister and I do not always get along, but I still love her and love to play with her. We enjoy dressing up and doing the hair of our American Girl dolls. When we finish our doll’s hair, we style each other’s hair. I have a loving and considerate extended family who currently live in Washington state. My grandma and grandpa spoil me too much! My aunts and uncles are awesome, as well. Once, my aunt took me and my sister shopping and told us to pretend we were part of a fashion show as we tried on outfits. When my cousin came to visit, we went hiking and played games.
Although many experiences and individuals impact my life, family, friends, and the activities that I am passionate about define who I am and shape my personality. Even though I have yet to participate in a variety of additional activities, I choose to focus on and dedicate my time to improving my gymnastics skills, playing the piano, and singing. My supportive, loving, and honest family and friends help me be successful and encourage me to do the best I can and follow my dreams. They truly have a tremendous influence on who I can become.
